Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to our website's Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page! We understand that you may have questions about our services, and we're here to provide you with answers. Our FAQ page is designed to address common queries and concerns that our customers may have.
Is there mobile phone reception or Wi-Fi?Yes, you can see the phone tower from the camping area and phone reception is great in the main area but may be patchy out in the paddocks and low lying areas. Wifi is located in our main shed. Our suggestion is - make the most of the lack of reception and take the opportunity to disconnect from your technology!
Do you allow dogs?Yes, pets are most welcome, but need to be well socialised and safe around small children and other animals. They must be secured when unsupervised and at night time and you are responsible for cleaning up after your pet, which includes toilet duties. Be aware we are close to national parks where there is active baiting as wild dogs are known to the area. We have had no issues with them on our property due to the openness and livestock, but my rear neighbour has regular sightings and shooters visit his property. Any persistent barking or aggression and they will be asked to leave. Please advise when booking if you intend on bringing your dog, others pets will be considered on request.
Can I have a fire?Yes, there is a large communal fire pit area and we also have a few, small metal fire fire pits for use in private camping areas you can borrow. You will find plenty of kindling and fire wood onsite although you will have to collect yourself, if you need any cut we have a chainsaw to cut larger pieces.
Do I need bring my own food? You will need to supply all your own food and drink and prepare it yourself. The kitchenette is also equipped with basic cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, mugs, glasses and plastics.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol?Alcohol is permitted but must be consumed in a responsible manner, any unruly drunken behaviour deemed inappropriate by your host will not be tolerated. Abuse - Zero tolerance for both verbal and physical abuse towards another person or animal. Drugs - Zero tolerance (other than prescribed medication).
Am I allowed to smoke/vape?All waste is to be appropriately disposed of, there is nothing worse than finding cigarette butts on the ground. Additionally, smoking of tobacco products and e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited in the following areas; Inside any enclosed buildings. This includes, but is not limited to accommodation, common area, sheds, reception buildings. Within 5 metres of any entrance or exit of buildings. Within 10 metres of a children’s playground or any other recreational facilities, which includes the pool.
Is your campsite kid friendly?YES! We are kid-friendly, in-fact we encourage you to bring the kids to come along to experience nature and our animals. We have porta cots available – just let us know at the time of booking and we can arrange to have these ready in your accommodation. We also have a playground, slackline, tyre swing, trampoline and games to keep them occupied. As our animals are free to roam around the property - It is your responsibility to ensure children are always accompanied. Feeding and water troughs as well as dams are positioned around the grounds for the livestock, these are not covered, and we ask that parents know where they are and be mindful if you have young children. It is expected that children are always accompanied by a responsible adult.
Can we bring our kid's bikes? You are more than welcome to bring your kids bikes, however, we do advise that road and general safety be considered at all times.
